These doctors need to be more appreciated because they work their butt off just to make other people healthy and save people’s lives yet some people call doctors idiots and say they don’t know what they are doing

Referring to the girl who slipped on ice and cracked a bone. It makes me so sad to see a child worrying more about a grade then their health ? I’ve never understood why schools force kids to follow these crazy timelines. It’s not like she’ll learn so much more if she waits 6 weeks to take the test. Sure she might forget it but it’s one test, if she really wants to pass it she’ll keep refreshing herself until the test. ?

That nurse was awful giving the shot. Pokes her slowly, holds it there, then uses her other hand to push the meds? Not only would that be painful going in, she was so shaky that it would’ve hurt even more! For a child or an adult, it’s called out a “quick stick” for a reason.

No it will grow because it is made of cartilage that is in the same growth pattern of his body. Because of this it will grow normally like he was born with it. I’m not worried about the growth though, I’m worried about his ear canal. What if it isn’t fully formed either? Then the most his new ear will do is make him look normal ish. I doubt a surgery to fix the ear canal would work considering it goes to far into the skull and they would literally have yo create one. If the canal is fine then good for him.

I kinda know what Nicolas went through. While I didn’t get made fun of, (as it was hidden) I had a lump on my head (benign), from a mole that bled when I was four. I was always self-conscious of it, afraid that it would grow so big my hair would part around it, etc etc. When I was nearly 20 (Nov 2011), my Nanna took me to her doc when I stayed with her, and he applied local anaesthetic and took it off. Been much happier since 🙂 An ear would have probably been worse as it’s harder to hide.
