Hi guys! I know it's been a while since I last uploaded and that is because I finally got lasik surgery! I've been putting it off for YEARS but getting lasik was one of my goals for 2019 and I can finally check it off my list!!! AHHHH it feels bittersweet! I documented my experience and recovery process and I hope it's helpful for those of you who might be curious about the surgery! 🙂

Have any of you guys had LASIK surgery? What was your experience like???
수술 후에 렌즈 착용해도 되나염??)
I had it 2 years ago and didnt regret it for a second. They said i wouldnt have perfect eyesight ever but im very satisfied so far. i still see better than before with glasses so yeah win win ?
I got PRK surgery last month, the recovery took forever.
The dude that got it before me had the laser on him for like 50 seconds each eye, I only had it shoot me for 20 seconds. The doc said their record for a patient was around 90 seconds.
@Cottidae Yeah, they couldn’t guarantee me perfect vision either so I’m at about 0.9 and 1.0 !
I didn’t have to wear sunglasses at all, because my eyes weren’t sensitive to light at all but I wanted to be dramatic and put them on ?
Congrats! I don’t need glasses but I recently watched a youtube video by Susana Tsang (Gogreengolean) who did it. She was very detailed about the whole ordeal. I thought it was interesting. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jUEg7vZgK2Q
Wowwww omg YOUR MANAGER AHAHAAH lol the peaceful music AHAHAHAH
You look beautiful btw ?????
ㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠthank u beans ???
7:54 “tears keep falling
it hurts to open, it hurts to close
what am i to do?”
would make a GREAT ballad.
but yeah i genuinely felt bad watching this part
Lasik surgery is one of the best gifts ever. I wore glasses/contacts for 15 years. The day after was LIFE CHANGING. NO REGRETS! My eye surgeon though after the surgery told me to sleep for the rest of the day and not open my eyes as little as possible. I was on the eyedrops regimen too. It’s best to use them daily for life! Anyways, congrats on your ‘new’ eyesight!!!!
I don’t even need Lasik to see how beautiful you are ? ?
For real though Ashley, good on you for going through with it! Must have been scary, and sorry you had to go through so much pain, but congratulations on your new world! ?
” I made eye contact with his eyeball” I AM WHEEZING WHAAAAT HAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHHA
I love you Ashley and I’m obsessed with ladies code and I hope your eyes get better♥️♥️
I’ve been wanting to get it done but… I’m lowkey nervous, however seeing your experience is definitely reassuring! I’m going to start looking for English speaking clinics in Seoul I can go to! Thanks for making a video about it! Love ya?
Thanks for your THOROUGH experience with Lasik. Many others share there experience but not thoroughly. I had an smooth experience with Lasik but I have friends who’ve had a nightmare of an experience. Nice vlog Ashley, thanks for sharing!
Nice, i hope everything went well and the results will last for you.
I did the same before, it’s a quite fast and easy procedure if done right. I haven’t used glasses/contacts for many years now.
It’s funny remembering you are not using any lenses, isn’t it?
it’s such a trippy feeling!! hahah it’s definitely gonna take me a while to get used to >___<
You go Ashley! so happy for you that everything went well!
proud of you for overcoming your fears and going ahead with this! im glad you can see clearly now❤
Hey Ashley, glad you are happy with the Lasik. You’re manager is a prankster i see, giving you grief in the beginning. You seemed so calm about the procedure on radio, definitely excited but not anxious. You know you are beautiful even without makeup, right?
I wanted to get Lasik when it first came out but i was told i wouldn’t be able to because i have “lazy eye”. Basically, 1 of my eyes has a tendency to wander around on it’s own accord. From what you said in the video of not moving your eyes, i am guessing i still wouldn’t be a good candidate for this procedure.
Thanks for sharing your experiences, if i hear of anyone thinking about doing it i will know exactly what to tell them now, or show them this video.
Thank you so much for doing this video Ashley!!! I have been wanting to do it too, but I have been so nervous about doing it! After this I will do it this year for sure!
@ashleybchoi Thank you so much for your video & reply Ashley! I finally did LASIK surgery! And I am so happy I did it! The results are amazing & I really feel like I’m in a whole new world! ??
Ahhh!!! Don’t be nervous ?❤️
Honestly, my first thought after finishing this video was – “I haven’t listened to Ashley’s solo song in a loooong time” lol idk why. So I am now listening to Here we are^_^ Glad it all went well for you!! xo
Woohoo!! I’m so happy for you, Ashley ?? It must be great not to wear lenses anymore! Can’t relate ?
this was so reassuring!! its so great that you wont need to struggle with glasses and contacts anymore, ive been wearing glasses since i was 9 so lasik is something ive been considering for a while too. glad it went so well for you!!!
also ur manager is so funny ahaha i miss seeing him in ur vlogs
Hi Ash! Ahh I’m so glad your vision improved so much after the surgery! ^_^ I’ve been wearing contacts ever since 3rd grade (so 10+ years lolz) so not having to wear contacts/glasses anymore must be such a relief…
Just wanted to ask, you said your vision will gradually come back after the procedure? So does that mean the nearsightedness will gradually come back at some point in your life?
10:09 -10:14 ???
they separate the components of your blood to mix your white blood cells and blood proteins with a pre-made eye drop serum to form a solution. together they help promote cell regeneration and ensure your body doesn’t reject the serum solution.
i don’t know if anything i just said is true. but it’s an educated guess and it sounds super smart, so i’m sticking with it.
