Honor Walk at East Tennessee Children’s Hospital

Contact us to Add Your Hospital

Their silence says more than words ever could.

When a family makes the courageous decision to donate their child’s organs, staff show their respect for the family by lining the halls to the operating room.

This is a family’s hardest day; their selfless decision will give life to others. They deserve this tribute.

The Honor Walk shows families they are not alone.

Just did it this in February this year for my 9 yr old niece. Love you Kimberly. I don’t know if I would have the courage my sister did but I am proud of her courageous decision. Kimberly lives on just in different ways now. Organ donation is the way to go. She is dancing with the angels and singing for God.

God bless❤ children are a true blessing my son has a brain tumor and we are at the hospital alot for chemo and other testing. I’ve seen so many children thru the last few years get called to heaven. The children are at peace now but a memory forever in my heart.

Isn’t it wonderful that a human being that has lived a life and passed on will leave their organs so someone else may survive?! God Bless them all,the giver, the parent, the husband or wife, the receiver, and the people harvesting these organs to help a person to live.

@Lynn: Although I don’t share her opinion about *all* religious people, I will say that there are religious fanatics who are sure where we came from and where we go when we die, with nothing to back it up. You could come back as a raccoon for all you or anyone else knows.

Rest in peace little one !

I can’t say that I know how this family feels….. I’ve never lost a child.

My wife Chris unexpectedly passed away from a massive pulmonary embolism. She selflessly chose to donate her organs and tissue. I am an organ donor because of her.

    God bless this family
