2 months after surgery. Started 273 now 230 lbs. Diabetic on insulin pump now off pump 4-6 units / day. Neuropathy, eye problems, seems to be getting better. Wife was skeptical. "His sugar was taking a toll on his life" His ankles are not swollen. "True believer" Doesn't snore anymore. Its a life changing experience. My endocrinologist is elated. His outlook has changed. I was third in line 58 minutes. Walking within 1-2 hrs. after surgery. I didn't have any pain, I didn't know I had surgery.
Eating a little more now. My appetite decreased. Had some "agent orange" French Fries did him in.
Tolerating more. Mac and cheese last night.
Fish and scallops did well.
My whole concept of food has changed.
