@Taylor Allen John Anstrom he was being treated for it but had a rare complication regardless. Most of the time it doesn’t, but it very much can happen to anyone. Especially now days with antibiotic resistant bacteria when it comes specifically to both strep and staph.

My brother had this at thirteen and was in and out of the doctors three weeks before he had brain surgery and all tests they couldn’t find the infection until they completed an MRI he had no symptoms of a sinus infection. Then he would have had two days to live if he didn’t have brain surgery

@Annabel Summer most of us want universal healthcare. we have this thing called the electoral college that keeps selfish, greedy, and evil leaders in power. It’s difficult to explain but someone in Wyoming (a republican state) vote counts as 3.4 california votes (a democratic state) despite the populatio of wyoming being 579,000 and California has a population of 39.5 million.

I agree. I’ve been very sick since I was 11, I’ve been treated like a POS so many times it’s absolutely horrible I have been sewn up without any anesthetic, was told I was fine when I was going into sepsis, (I wouldn’t be alive right now if I wouldn’t have gone to a different hospital) I’ve been through a lot. I have a lot of medical induced C-PTSD. These nurses and doctors are absolutely incredible. I hope the future is like this. I really dont ever want to see anyone go thru what I’ve gone thru. I love this series tho it’s incredible

@Eevee Haze With a good anesthesiologist she would be fine. anesthesia has been around for over a century, we’ve perfected it. It’s more dangerous to put them through this excruciating pain then to put them under. I imagine the bleeding was horrendous

My son was 16 when we had his tongue done. It was done under local anaesthetic and we went home immediately. But he had 1 stitch which took about 1 week to heal. Was very expensive though. And I had to pay upfront and dr reimbursed me after they got paid by medical aid

@Tammy Cambell science is great for many things, but they’re too many problems in this world for mankind to solve. We pray for the solution when we pray the Lord’s Prayer.
” Let your Kingdom come, your will be done, on Earth AS it is in heaven.”

    2. Donna Martin

Dear heart, that plan is already in place because if you’re a Bible reader you’ll know that Jesus healed everyone when he was on the Earth. That was just a foregleam of what he will do when the Kingdom of God is fully established right here on Earth. We pray the Lord’s Prayer Let your Kingdom come and your will be done on Earth AS it is in Heaven. There’s no sickness or death or sorrow in heaven and Revelation
21:3,4 says that these things will be done away with oh, the FORMER things have passed away. Former means things that existed Before a change was made… These sad conditions like sickness and diseases, genetics problems are existing on the Earth right now but not much longer as you see the world deteriorating are these Wicked conditions going to exist. Christ will accomplish God’s will here on Earth to have this Earth brought back to a Paradise ! Read Revelation 21:3, 4 Psalms 37:9-11.
And look at Luke 23:43. Jesus toldi criminal next to him that he would see him in Paradise. This would have been the time or he would have said “see you in heaven”, but no, he spoke of paradise when the man is resurrected back to life, John 5:28….
Pray for the Truth God has given us through his Word, the Bible ?

@Denise Pope Effective surgery is not put off for years under socialized medicine. It’s literally the same system as in the US but instead of getting ripped off everytime you go to the hospital you pay £400/€ a month and you get more, for less. How does “Work and be productive” match with people not going to hospital until they are at the edge of dying because of the cost?
189 sovereign countries are free on this world. Freedom is America, and 188 countries more.

    2. Denise Pope

Nothing changed under Obama and Biden and they were in for 8 years.
Elective surgery are put off for years under socialized medicine. You people just want “Free”, “Free”. The USA is not that way. Work and be productive. Freedom is America.

    3. Mikel Sopelana Durango

Yes, you could be waiting for hours on the ER to receive help – if you can afford it. Far too many people in the US only go to the hospital when whatever they have gets too bad, making early detection treatments rare and becoming more difficult and time consuming to cure, all because paying for a hospital visit can take the entire monthly salary off you.

Yea I know I had surgery before nothing went wrong I got my tonsils removed that’s why I’m scare of surgery you’ll die basically when your sleep and you can die from the anesthesia

@æsthetıc alıen with me it was whistling. Then I got the tendon caught in my braces and my dad cut it out with my mom’s sewing scissors. That was many years ago. Thanks to my dad and his home surgery, I can whistle now!

    2. æsthetıc alıen

      roleat that’s not entirely true!

I was tongue tied till I was six, and they left it for so long mostly due to them not knowing it was an issue in the first place.
I could eat, talk, and do everything normally, I just couldn’t stick out my tongue, whistle or anything. They noticed it when I went to the dentist to get a tooth pulled.

My son had emergency brain surgery at 19. He had a 5% chance of even making it out of surgery. They only shave what they need to. The asthetics are not important. My daughter shaved the rest of her brother’s hair when he got home a week later. ☺️

it is not a pretty feeling when the docs take out the intubation tube cause it goes all the way down to your lungs to keep u breatheing & it feels worse when your awake

i had the intubation tube when awake before & i hated it & unfortunately i kept vomiting & that did not feel good at all especially when it was coming out
luckily it did help me with my breatheing
    ????

  2. Coffee Breath

A sinus infection did all that? That’s crazy. My mom gets one almost every winter. A quick trip to the doctor and a few days on meds and she’s fine. I had no idea it could cause so much damage!

    1. sopranomegs

Yeah sinus infections can be dangerous. I have chronic sinusitis and had surgery a few years ago. I have also been checked for that complication a few times. So seeing this poor guy suffer from it makes me very thankful I never developed it!
