Live LASIK (PRK) eye surgery video performed at UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas TX. After wearing contacts and glasses for about 15 years finally free from eye wear. Now seeing 20/15. Surgery performed by Dr. Heather Winslow of Ophthalmology Dallas. Cost me $2k for both eyes.
I’ve had friends that did LASIK with low cornea thickness that experienced pain days after their procedure as well. So like I said before everybody is not the same. Thanks for watching!
I’m so glad I watched your video. I’ve been trying to decide where to get my lasik procedure performed and I finally decided on UT Southwestern. When the video started and I saw that you got yours done here, it made me feel a little better!
Congrats bro! I hope it all works out well for you!
had been wearing specs since i was six, kinda hesitant to hav this surgery 🙂 this vid eases me a little. I’ll try having it done this summer.thank u for posting this.
Congrats bro! I hope it works well for you!
I experienced night vision the first week only. Second week I was fine and I’m seeing 20/16 now. Better than 20/20
I’m preparing to get this done as well.. Thanks for posting the video!!
This music reminds me of the PS Tarzan game, classic childhood memories
I’m doing great and the procedure was very successful, I’m seeing 20/16 in reference to 20/20 which my eyesight is better. No trouble, blurry vision, dry eyes or pain since the surgery. You should first consult with a specialist to see if you are a good candidate for the surgery, then go from there.
Thanks a lot! Hope it all went well!
Best decision I ever made as well! Good luck!!
hey Reggie thanks for posting the video on Lasik eye surgery. Now that it has been a year, how do you feel? Was it worth it?
@pgs916. The office gave me a prescription similar to valium (strong) to take before the surgery. I got PRK not LASIK due to me boxing so my healing process was longer. The total cost was 2k(both eyes) with Dr. Heather Winslow in Dallas,TX. I now see 20/15 better than 20/20. Best 2k I’ve invested so far. If you have anymore questions inbox me. Thanks for watching the video. ~Reg
My fear that prevents me getting this done, is that I would have to see and be aware of everything that is going on.
I enjoyed watching the video! thanks for posting!
Having this done in 2 weeks. Thanks for the video, helps ease nerves that you laughed during.
Jill LaRue you’re beautiful
+Jill LaRue How much was it?
+Simply Salma I am great! I love it! No glasses! You won’t blink and if u do the machine does know and adjust, very high tech! Don’t be nervous! I even forget I do not wear contacts anymore and think I need to take them out cause of how well I see now and remember I don’t have contacts anymore!
how are your eyes? and does it hurt? what did u do when u felt the need to blink? Please answer im so nervous
Thanks mate i had my operation done yesterday done in the Czech Republic and they didn’t give me any anti anxiety drug and it was a little freaky when they were making the flap! but other than that it all went good. I still can’t believe that i can see with no glasses.
this brings tears to my eyes….argghhhh
Everyone is different my friend. I currently see 20/15 so I’m satisfied with my results.
I’m really enjoying watching this. I’m having my surgery appointment today
