Cindy I have just started watching your channel and I am a kidney transplant patient. My question is how you took Advil and it’s an NSAID medicine that you should not take after kidney transplant?

Saher khan interesting! When they made the flap I saw complete black. But then when the open the flap, I just see the flap getting pushed up lol. I actually just posted a video of my own experience on my channel if anyone is interested!

You just see a ton of lights haha. There’s one point when they make the flap where your vision goes black- but it comes back VERY quick. And then when they are sponging your eye at the end, you see all the stuff coming towards your eye- but don’t feel anything. Kinda like a 3d movie lol. I got it done a week ago! I’ll be posting a vlog soon about my experience.

I had my lasik surgery yesterday and I was so curious how it went. I’m so happy to leave those heavy glasses. Now I just rediscovered my eyes were big, and I’ll finally dance and do sports without being concerned of my glasses (i had myopia and astigmatism and +6 everything in both eyes)

I’m finally getting my eyes laser next year. I’m tired of wearing glasses and constantly losing my contacts. My older sister got her eyes done a few years ago and she said it didn’t even hurt. It was just uncomfortable ??‍♀️

I like wearing my glasses, mostly because I dont have a choice lol and I cant be bothered to put in my contacts all the time ?, but they fit my face I think. However, I have been considering this surgery recently. The only thing that scares me is that you see everything they are doing lol!

One strong woman to be going through this! I can’t even let an eye doctor dilate my pupils unless I have my eyes closed and they put the drops in my tear ducts instead, I can’t handle anything near my eyes!

Cindy Flores lmao chill the person in this video in the surgery is a woman and she was saying she is strong for doing that it’s not anything against men lmao it’s not her fault she’s a woman

Congrats on the surgery! Making my eyes hurt watching this haha

I got my eyes done in Edmonton. Nice staff and very very thorough testing. I got the full custom laser treatment. My surgeon had me lay on a table. I was surrounded by a team of three plus the surgeon. Heavy metal music plays kinda loud in the room. Lyrics go “staring into my soul” or something and I almost laugh. I’m staring into this blue laser with an immobilized eyeball. Most badass surgery I ever got. Minimal poking and prodding. 99% of it was lazers and intense music :D. Also, no relaxation drugs. If you want laser eye surgery, dont be like me and please take the drugs. It probably helps a ton.

My operation was much different than this one in the video. I had lots of pain in my recovery for the first night. The devices they used to keep my eyes open and still (almost like a lubed up suction cup) pressed into my eyeball (they also had a focus lens or something. Didnt feel it add any pressure, but I could see it). This prevented any unwanted inconsistencies, but that pressure formed eye bruises that became very painful… First night was fucking hell on earth. After that, no problems. Seeing 20/20 (and better) six months later!

Video had me cringing though. They would laser an eye that wasn’t imobilized first, relying on the individual to keep them still? Perhaps there is something about your kind of procedure I didnt quite catch. Mine was much more secure, but also entailed more pain. Maybe my eyes were just soft. Anyways, I’d rather take one night of torture vs screwing up my eyes permanently cuz my eye twitched or something.
