Banana is average glycaemic index fruit. In addition banana has got approximately 80- 100 calories. That is why banana is not much advisable for diabetic patients. Honey glycaemic index is 50; better than sugar (G I 100 ) to add to tea. You can refer one of my previous video “ madhurvum prahamevum”

replacing sugar with honey is beneficial or not? Also rice vs chappathy which is good for diabetic patients?
Rice and wheat is almost same. You have to restrict both.
