Diabetic, hypertensive thyroid patient recovers form COVID-19 in a week
Mr. Anil Bagadia reached out to Apollo Hospitals Navi Mumbai recently when the mother of a member of Lions’ Club International, Panvel tested positive for COVID-19.
Unfortunately, due to the rising numbers of COVID-19 patients in the vicinity, all beds were occupied. However, the staff of the hospital is committed to help as many patients as possible and later that night, as soon as a bed was available, an ambulance was sent out to the patient. The 67 year-old woman was a hypertensive diabetic and suffered from thyroid.
Mr. Bagadia stated that because of the excellent, hygienic care the patient received, she recovered and was discharged within 7 days. He thanked the team at Apollo Hospitals Navi Mumbai for their commitment to their patients.
