Colleen Williams I live in South Dakota my mom goes to a doctor in Sioux falls, SD. He works with adult. She goes there two times a year, usually when my older brother has an appointment for his cerebral palsy, and when we go to Minneapolis, MN for my brother’s and my appointments. I had surgery 2 years ago because I had scoliosis. It was an 80°curve. I also had surgery 3 years ago because the vertebraes I’m my neck were pinching my brain stem. My older brother had major surgery last may. They loosened his hamstrings (slicing them). Broke and rotated his ankle, ans moved both of his Kneecaps.

S Dirk I watch the Frey life. Which is about a CF girl in USA. I know the USA she still goes to a children’s hospital even though she is in her 20s. Since CF is a childhood disease meaning you had it since birth. Plus is not to common they stay at children’s. Is UK like that,

I’m so worried for my sister she has scoliosis and tomorrow she is going into surgery to straighten out her spine. I’m worried because my other sister had an operation on her kidneys and was so ill after she had to stay In hospital for a year. I’m sorry for the long paragraph but I was wondering if anybody had any advice for me. Xxx

Super Squirrels I dislocated my left kneecap in 5th grade and had chronic kneecap problems until the second semester of my junior year of high school. I had a major surgery that comprised of 4 operations to repair the patella ligament and repositioned my left leg. I have cerebral palsy, so I was having a hard time getting around. This surgery also fixed my patella alta and a Q-angle discrepancy between my legs. My left side is weaker than my right side so some forms of mobility have been very difficult for me. I walk using a single point cane and I used to be in a wheelchair prior to regaining my ability to walk all over again.

When I originally had dislocated my left kneecap, the doctors gave me crutches, but since I couldn’t use my left side as much, I couldn’t use the crutches at all, and the knee immobilizer was too big for my leg.
